STRUCTURE
Original canvas.
There are some small surface abrasions in the upper right corner, and there is faint craquelure, particularly noticeable to the shop front; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV light reveals an opaque varnish and there are areas of retouching, the most prominent being in the upper right corner, near the upper left corner, along the right edge and through the foreground. There are further small areas scattered throughout the canvas, with some cosmetic retouchings to the faces of the central figures.
