Condition
STRUCTURE
The panel is sound but bows slightly. There are some faint signs of paint separation.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
Ultraviolet light reveals scattered flecks of retouching across the work, predominantly in the background of the upper half of the picture, and elsewhere some of which relate to raised areas visible on the surface.
FRAME
Held in a gilt plaster frame.
