Condition

STRUCTURE The sheet has been laid down on to the artist's card. There are a few, faint spots of foxing in the upper right quadrant and two minor spots of staining to the centre of the boy's clothes. There is a very fine scratch below the bowl of cheese, only visible upon close inspection; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition. FRAME Held under glass in a gilt plaster frame with a gilt mount.
