There is a small piece of glass caught between the frame and the canvas near the centre lower edge of the painting. Otherwise the canvas is in good overall condition and the paint is stable. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT Under ultraviolet light there appear to be no signs of retouching. FRAME Held in a metal and wood frame under glass; unexamined out of frame.
