STRUCTURE
Original canvas. The work appears in good overall condition with strong passages of impasto throughout. The surface is slightly dirty and may benefit from a light clean.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV light reveals scattered spots of retouching across the sky, some areas to the left and right of the figure's head and in the top left corner.
FRAME
Held under glass in a gilt composite frame, clean and ready to hang; unexamined out of frame.
