The canvas has been relined and and placed on a new stretcher.
The paint surface is in good, clean condition.
Ultra violet light reveals infilling to craquelure and overpaint throughout the sky; in particular to repairs in the upper right corner. There are some further spots of infilling in the foreground.
Held in a plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
