Folio (12 3/4 x 9 3/4 in.; 324 x 248 mm). Two half-titles (1 stamped in blind, 1 letterpress), 143 colored lithographs by Alphone Mucha including title-page and 5 plates, some heightened in silver, 10 illustrated initials, plus three additional suites: 1) a suite of barred lithographs before letters on chine (lacking one quire), 2) a suite of color lithographs on chine before letters, 3) a suite in black on chine before letters (lacking 4 quires), plus 4 additional plates and two drawings by the binder to guide the tooling. Modern dark-green crushed morocco tooled in blind, gilt and color, top edge gilt, gold silk doublures and endleaves, original green printed wrappers bound in, in a green half-morocco drop-box, by Donald Glaister, with the original red three-quarter morocco chemise, with gilt-stamped title on upper cover; ties gone, rubbed.
