Portfolio of prints (sheets  22 x 30 1/4 in.; 558 x 768 mm).  Pictorial title leaf, contents leaf with introductory text by Alfred Frankenstein, colophon leaf, 8 lithographs printed in colors on German Etching paper.  Publisher's red pebbled cloth portfolio, front cover lettered in silver gilt, cloth ties; some rubbing, spine repaired with cloth tape, one inner flap partially detached.

Catalogue Note

Copy 12 of 25 hors commerce copies (of a whole edition of 150).  The portfolio comprises two lithographs each by 4 important 20th-century Mexican artists: José Luis Cuevas, David Alfaro Siquerios, Rufino Tamayo, and Francisco Zuñiga.

The two outstanding Tamayo lithographs are Perro de Luna and Chacal  (Pereda 135 and 136).
