A group of 25 currency notes comprising an example from each of the 13 colonies (1774-1780), 8 examples of United Colonies currency, 3 printed by Benjamin Franklin (1739, 1758, 1764), and a note issued by the state of Massachusetts in the amount of 4 shillings, October 1778, engraved with a codfish on the recto and a pine tree on the verso, by Paul Revere; some wear and age-darkening, but generally good.
