A fine group of letters and manuscripts written by the illustrious members of the Beecher family, from the collection of Edward Bok. Items of special interest include the famous preacher Henry Ward Beecher's autograph manuscript "Should Women be Hanged" later published in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, and four moving letters by Harriet Beecher Stowe.
