4to (10 x 7 5/8 in.; 254 x 193 mm). Printer’s ornaments,  decorative woodcut initials; moderately browned throughout, occasionally severe, with some marginal dampstains. Contemporary blind-ruled calf over wooden boards, remains of clasps, in a tan cloth drop-box, 3 pieces of later ephemera laid in; covers and extremities rubbed and scuffed.



Second edition of the first Bible printed in a European language in America, published in an edition of two thousand copies.
