Catalogue Note

A re-issue of Pieter van der Aa's Nouvel Atlas which was published at Leiden in 1714. All the maps contain the text in the cartouche: "Suivant les Nouvelles Observations de Messrs. de l'Academie Royale des Sciences ... à Amsterdam chez Covens et Mortier,"  the publisher's names clearly replacing that of the former publisher. The title of map 96 remains "La Floride" as in the earlier issue.
