A group of 6 color-engraved plates after Jacques Barraband (19 x 11 3/4 in.; 483 x 299 mm, sight) and finshed by hand  from François Levaillant's Histoire naturelle des oiseaux de paradis et des rolliers, suivie de celles des toucans et des barbus (Paris, 1801-1806), being Le Grand Jacamar, Le Rollier vulgaire, femelle, no. 33, L'Aracari à cinture rouge, dans son extrême vieillesse, no. 12, Le Geai bleu, no. 45, Le Geai d'Europe, no. 40, Le Rollier, varié d'Afrique, no. 28; light to moderate foxing and toning. Uniformly matted, glazed, and framed.
