A pair of color-engraved plates after Jacques Barraband, from  (29 x 19 in.; 737 x 483 mm, sight)  and finished by hand  from François Levaillant's Histoire naturelle des oiseaux de paradis et des rolliers, suivie de celles des toucans et des barbus (Paris, 1801-1806), being La Pic de paradis, vue par devant no. 20 and La Pic de paradis, vue de derrière, no. 21; both plates foxed and spotted. Uniformly matted, glazed, and framed.
