First edition of Spinoza's first book, and the only one published in his lifetime identifying him as the author. Here Spinoza presents an exposition of the first and second parts of Descartes' Principia philosophiae but recast in Euclidean form. The appendix contains his exposition of Cartesian metaphysics.
