Description

of long rectangular form with slightly splaying edges, composed of wood inlaid with ivory and decorated in the centre with a geometric pattern of stars and hexagons, the side edges inlaid with ivory arabesque motifs and micromosaic designs, mounted with two domed metallic roundels, some later repair

Condition

In general good condition, some rubbing and missing ivory inlay and evidence of repair to central micro-mosaiced section, light scratches, few holes to reverse possibly once caused by woodworms, as viewed.
