Description

  • Silk and metal thread
of square format, with a central medallion featuring Allah in a large Thuluth script embroidered with gilt metal threads in relief, against a black silk background and inside a red silk band containing a calligraphic inscription, also in gilt metallic threads, radiating rays and four smaller roundels to each corner with a green background and an inscription

Condition

In overall fairly good condition, intact, the silk background with minor tears spread across the surface, sown onto a black cotton sheet, few loose metallic threads on central inscription, as viewed.
