Arabic manuscript on paper, 120 leaves plus 2 flyleaves,13 lines to the page, written in neat Naskh script in black ink, verses separated by segmented gold roundels, gold heading panels left blank, illuminated foliate marginal devices, catchwords, margins ruled in gold, opening illuminated headpiece with gold ground punched with cintamani motifs, double-page watercolour illustration depicting Mecca and Medina, a further illuminated headpiece, morocco binding with embossed stencilled doublures and outer boards decorated with a floral spray emanating gold rays with ropework border, with flap

In very good overall condition, calligraphy bold and illumination bright, as viewed.
