Persian mansucript on paper, 3 lines to the page, written in large nasta'liq script in black ink within cloud bands against gold grounds sprinkled with polychrome flowers, flanked by broad panels filled with leafy gold fronds, large illuminated headpiece with seal impression of Nasr al-Din Shah, ruled in gold, red outer borders, various seals to reverse
Condition
In good overall condition, some minor repair to leaf edges, a few stains, gold and colours bright, as viewed.
