Arabic manuscript on paper, 307 leaves plus 2 flyleaves, 15 lines to the page, written in neat naskh script in black ink, rotating assorted gold roundels between verses pointed in orange, white and blue, catchwords, margins ruled in gold, black and red, headings written in white thuluth script on illuminated panels, intricate marginal illuminations, opening double page frontispiece with pin-pricked gold ground rigorously decorated with polychrome flowers and architectural rococo borders, text in gold cloud bands, colophon with ensuite rococo decoration, olive green morocco binding with red and gilt stamped medallions and punched gold dots, with flap

Condition

In good overall condition, ink bold and illumination bright, a few smudges and minor stains throughout, pages generally clean with few minor repairs, wear to the binding and repair to the spine and flap, as viewed.
