Description

  • Ink on Paper
Arabic manuscript on paper, 20 leaves, a total of 39 panels of calligraphy, each 4 lines to the page, written in two sizes of naskh and thuluth scripts in black ink, each panel illuminated with leafy floral sprays, laid down on album pages ruled in colours and gold with gold-flecked outer margins, binding with moulded decoration consisting of chinoiserie cloud bands and interlacing vines  

Condition

In very good overall condition, ink bold and illumination bright, as viewed.
