Condition
Colours in reality are crisper, lighter and more attractive than in the photograph.
Generally even 5mm pile overall, with some areas down to knot-bars and foundation, especially in areas of oxidised browns. There are some other small reweaves, which include the tips of two of the corners, and areas of the brown ground, and some areas within the yellow, pinks and taupe colours. The red ground areas have some blue speckles of staining and some minor tinted warp threads. Partially rewoven sections of outermost edges of end guards, warp fringes trimmed to approximately 10-15mm.
Large, striking design, balanced composition and colours. Overall impression is good, carpet is sound and ready to use. Generous border drawing and dramatic design.
