of shallow rounded form, decorated with underglaze cobalt blue, veridian green and relief red, outlined in black with sprays of hyacinth, rose, tulip and prunus emanating from a leafy tuft, the rim decorated with breaking wave motif, the reverse with alternating paired tulips and rosettes, J.Soustiel label on reverse inscribed with the date 1951
