Description
- silver gilt and enamelled
of shallow round form with a raised border, with white, blue, red, and green enamel and silver-gilt decoration, the central image featuring the Küçüksu Mihrişah Valide Sultan fountain, the border decorated with a band of silver-inlaid and enamelled rumi and double-rumi designs, with relief crescent moons containing alternating inscriptions and floral motifs, a band of stylised crescent moons to reverse, hook to foot for hanging
Condition
In general good condition, some slight oxidisation to silver and on tin on reverse, minor flake to enamel paint on central image, as viewed.
