Description

the flat steel alam top of drop form with a straight, slightly widening neck, the cut openwork decoration with cursive inscription on a ground of spiralling and foliated scroll-work, the external edges with stylised palmette motifs

Condition

In fairly good condition, some oxidisation to surface consistent with age, small crack at bottom of foot and remaining drill holes probably once used for attaching or hanging, as viewed.
