of deep conical form with wide flaring edges on a short foot, black and brown slip decoration on a cream slip ground, with a long inscription running from rim to rim across the interior and a bichrome stylised palmette motif above and below

Condition
In fairly good condition, once broken and restored with associated overpainting, area of restoration to left hand section of inscription, some touching in and over-spray, a slightly cracked line to surface on exterior, as viewed.
