the earthenware body of flattened form with a broad rim, painted in two colours of lustre on an opaque white glaze, featuring a bird in the centre surrounded by foliage, the stem following the curvature of the rim, the exterior with strokes set within triangles and circles, old gallery label to reverse: "D. Kelekian, A 232, 2, Place Vendome"

In general good condition, once broken and restored with associated overpainting, some rubbing to surface consistent with age, areas with bright glaze, as viewed.
