- Clock 44cm. 17¼in. high Bracket 23cm. 9in. high
6¾-inch dial with rococo spandrels, the shallow arch signed Allam & Clements, London, flanked by subsidiary strike/silent and regulation dials, the bell striking fusee movement with five knopped pillars, verge escapement with rise and fall regulation, the backplate engraved with foliate scrolls, the case with inverted bell top and brass carrying handle, brass mouldings and brass bracket feet; together with a conforming bracket
Condition
Dial in good clean condition. Movement is complete, clean and looks as though it would run. Case in generally good, clean condition with a few old minor dents and cracks. Bracket is contemporary with the clock but may be associated and is in similar condition to the case. With pendulum, winder and three case keys.
