Catalogue Note

Charles Freyssinges was a decorator at the factory from 1916 until 1935, after which he had successive promotions until becoming chef d'atelier in 1958. He died in 1970. Mme Terrien was also responsible for décors between 1929 and 1939.

Henri Rapin played an important part in the revitalisation of the Sevres factory during the Art Deco period, designing a whole series of powerful new forms for a new breed of decorators.
