5½-inch enamel dial with finely pierced and engraved gilt hands, the movement with verge escapement and silk suspension, pull quarter repeating on a bell, signed on the backplate Fortin A Paris, the case surmounted by a seated chinoiserie figure holding a parasol, cast with rococo scrolls and foliage, a cartouche-shaped pendulum access flap to the front inset with an enamel plaque signed as the movement

Enamel dial in very good condition. Movement is complete and appears to retain the original wheelwork throughout, running at time o fcataloguing but would benefit from a clean. Case in good condition and retaining the original gilding, some very minior marks and scuffs. With pendulum but no winder.
