each with a rectangular curved padded back above downscrolled arms and bowed padded seat, on square tapering legs, the top-rail carved with birds flanking a fountain, the seat-rail with a basket of flowers

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Joints sound and sturdy. Some very minor retouching to the painted decoration. Old minor marks, chips and scratches consistent with age and use. A charming pair.
