- 89cm. high,134cm. wide, 67cm. deep; 2ft. 11in., 4ft. 4¾in., 2ft. 2¼in.
with a rectangular veined white, grey and green marble top above a frieze centred by an eagle within a wreath flanked by diaper motif enclosed flowerheads on tapering acanthus and lotus leaf carved legs terminating in foliate carved ball feet; with a partly illegible paper label to the back handwritten in ink ...Roma
Condition
In overall good conserved condition. Old very minor chips to marble top which are hardly noticeable due to the veining in the marble. Old very minor chips to gilding which can easily be touched up. Some very minor hairline cracks through wreath and eagle wings at the front. Some minor chips which have been touched up with gold paint. Very minor section of leaf tip chipped off front left which can easily be touched up. Some minor sections of beading chipped off which are hardly noticeable and can be left.
