Description

  • porcelain, ormolu
  • 47cm. high, 31cm. diameter; 1ft. 6½in., 1ft. ¼in.
with a gilt rim with an egg and acanthus leaf cast border, painted and gilt with an all over pattern of lapis caillouté, blue interlaced L mark, with gilt Jupiter heads supporting gilt-bronze handles, on a square base with acanthus leaves; two sections of the porcelain socle broken and relaced, crack to the base of the vase; some rubbing to the gilding

Condition

In overall good condition. Some very minor firing flaws in the porcelain inside some very minor rubbing to the gilt bronze base.Porcelain: Socle and lower half of vase restored, Jupiter heads re-gilt.
