  • 159cm. high, 87cm. wide.; 5ft. 2½in., 2ft. 10¼in.
carved with acanthus scrolls, an anthemion and a marginal plate separated by a beaded border, later plates and re-gilded

Condition

Decorative. Noticeable wear throughout with localised areas of damage, including losses, chips and some loose components to the carved frame. There are some fine cracks at the joins of the giltwood frame. There is a small crack to lower left outer plate. There is general rubbbing to gilding throughout resulting in some exposed gesso.
