the top with a border carved with a band of Vitruvian scrolls above a frieze centred by a female neo-classical reclining figure with a harp flanked on either side by octagonal recessed panels with guilloche  enclosing flowers and foliage flanked by a neo-classical foliate carved urn above Egyptian male terms the inside with a gilt-bronze  foliate cast border
