of slender ovoid form, each painted with a panel of two lovers in a landscape with cupid above, signed Maxant,  inside gilt foliate frames, the reverse painted with a panel of two putti amongst clouds, the waisted neck and flared foot reserved with gilt panels of muusical instruments and farming implements, the domed cover with gilt-metal pinecone finial, raised on a gilt-metal chamfered square base
