the oval barrel carved in high relief with a battle between Ottoman and Christian warriors, the handle capped with a lion mask, the lid and base with acanthus leaves within lobed borders, centurion finial
Condition
minor time cracks and joins, otherwise generally in excellent order, finial almost imperceptibly re-attached.
