gadrooned borders, each engraved with two crests below and baron's coronet, the undersides stamped 'J. PARKES 12 VIGO ST W.'

Good clear marks and engraving, surface scratches commensurate with age, heavy gague, overall good condition

The crests are those of Cunliffe and Lister, for the Yorkshire inventor and industrialist, Samuel Cunliffe Lister (1815-1906), who was elevated to the peerage in 1891 as 1st Baron Masham of the second creation.
