Description

  • 210cm. high, 112cm. wide, 62cm. deep; 6ft. 10¾in., 3ft. 8in., 2ft. ½in.
the top with a pair of doors with arched replaced inset mirror plates enclosing a fully fitted interior of nineteen small drawers, pigeonholes and folio racks arranged around a central cupboard, the bureau with a interior of a central cupboard enclosing small drawers flanked by pigeonholes and eight small drawers above a slide, with five drawers and a dummy drawer below ,  restorations and some later elements

Condition

Overall good condition. Very well fitted interior to the top and desk. Re-finished colour. Originally with finials now lacking. Later mirror plates. Later mouldings around top of bureau and partially around bottom. Later handles. Age cracks to sides. Some losses to mouldings. Feet later. Some patching to veneers around drawers and adjacent to hinges. Age cracks to flap and some possible re-veneering.
