Description

banded and crossbanded overall and inlaid with flower sprays and husks, the shaped top above one frieze drawer and three long drawers below; handles missing, escutcheons replaced

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. There are a few replaced sections to the veneer to the top. Minor sections of bone-inlay have been replaced throughout. The drill-holes of the removed handles have been filled in by bone rosettes. This has been very well executed. Old minor marks, chips, cracks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. A charming piece with nice patina.
