Previously in the Collection of Baroness Lazzaroni, Rome.
Sold Sotheby's, London, 8th December 1995, lot 36.

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. There are three replaced sections to the rim of the cover, each approximately 3cm. wide. There are several chips to the inside of the cover. There are three small restored areas of infill to the body of the vase which have been very well executed. One corner of the base has been replaced. Small minor marks, chips and cracks throughout consistent with age and use. An attractive piece.
