La série Oiseaux de marbre a été créée durant l'été 1974 à Athènes à la demande d'Alexandre Iolas. L'édition initiale devait être de douze exemplaires de cinq modèles, elle ne sera jamais menée à son terme. Les modèles originaux seront conservés chez Alexandre Iolas, une série sera réalisée pour Yves Saint-Laurent et une autre sera conservée par François-Xavier et Claude Lalanne.
Condition
Très bon état général.
Cette pièce est restée à l'interieur et n'a jamais été placée dans un jardin. La plaque du dossier en marbre légèrement accidentée au revers à deux endroits ( quelques centimètre) devant épouser des pièces de forme ronde en plastique ( l'une manquante ), devis de restauration disponible.
Very good overall condition
This piece has always stayed inside and has never been placed in a garden. The marble back slightly broken in two places on the reverse (plus or minus 0,3 inch ) to marry parts of round plastic (one missing), very easy to restore. A quote is available on demand.
