de forme circulaire, décorée au centre d'une fleur de lotus stylisée entourée de fleurs de lotus épanouies dans des rinceaux feuillagés, le revers agrémenté de deux sceptres vajra croisés autour d'une rosace centrale, également entourés de lotus dans des rinceaux

Condition

There is a 1.5cm loss to the enamels to the outside below the rim and a 1cm loss to the enamels to the inside at the same place otherwise the dish is in good overall condition.

Catalogue Note

The colours of this small dish are typical of cloisonné of the 15th and 16th century. Compare, for instance, a larger dish dated to the 15th century decorated with a similar design in the Uldry Collection, illustrated in Helmut Brinker and Albert Lutz, Chinese Cloisonné : The Pierre Uldry Collection,  New York, 1989, cat.no. 14.
