There is a waterstain running all the way from the upper left hand side along the left hand side and to the bottom left hand side of the painting (ca. 13cm at the widest part and visible in the catalogue illustration). There is light overall foxing across the lower part of the painting below the flowers. There are scattered spots across the upper part of the painting and some horizontal and vertical creases in the lower, middle and upper parts of the painting. The colours are more saturated and the paper slightly darker than the catalogue illustration suggests.
