Description

  • porcelain
la panse globulaire aplatie généreusement renflée, flanquée d'anses montées en relief figurant des têtes de chimères soutenant des anneaux émaillés blanc

Provenance

Sotheby's Hong Kong, 21st and 22nd May 1979, lot 92.

Condition

The vase is in good overall condition with the exception of very light fritting to the molded masks and some tiny flakes to three of the rings. There are three glaze pulls where the red glaze has not covered the white glaze scattered around the body. The actual color is slightly darker, less red, than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
