Description
- porcelain
la base étroite allant en s'élargissant vers un épaulement généreusement renflé sous un petit col circulaire aux bords ourlés, recouvert d'une belle glaçure caractéristique bleu ciel
Provenance
Sotheby's Hong Kong, 17th November 1975, lot 16.
Condition
There is a ca. 20cm long scratch/crack to the body that starts below the shoulder and extends almost to the foot of the vase. It is not visible in the interior, appears to have been partially filled-in and the surface polished along the crack. There are two ca. 2cm long cracks on the rim, one visible on the interior and lip but not on the exterior, the second going through. The area on the rim where the cracks are visibe appears to have been polished at a later date. The colour of the glaze is of a slightly more vibrant tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
