Condition

Please note that the present piece is made of zitan wood and not of hongmu as noted in the catalogue. The top and the sides are separately, there is a ca. 21x5cm long piece and a ca. 5x2cm long piece set into the border around the central panel. There is a ca. 38cm long splint to the edge along one side of the top, several smaller splints, and several small areas of loss to the wood on the underside. There are overall traces of wear and the wood overall is a little dry.
