sur fond crème, à décor polychrome d'un couple de paons entouré d'autres volatiles évoluant autour d'eux parmi de nombreuses fleurs et branchages

Condition

The silk is streched to across a wooden frame ; it is torn across the links of the upper part where it is stretched across the wood ; it is also torn along the lower left hand corner where it is stretched across the frame ; there is a circa 10cm wide water stain along the upper left hand edge and a second, circa 8cm long water stain along the upper right hand side ; the embroidery itself is in good overall condition. The colors are more subtile, more yellow/greenish than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
