Cette sculpture-réceptacle, à l'exécution si parfaitement maîtrisée que son ouverture (tête constituant le bouchon) demeure imperceptible, transcende la fonctionnalité de l'objet pour offrir, en « miniature », une vision des plus sensibles de la statuaire Mossi. Superbe patine d'usage, dont la profondeur a atténué avec le temps les motifs tégumentaires très finement gravés, par lesquels les femmes Mossi affirmaient leur statut et leur identité.
