This work appears to be in generally good condition overall. There are some minor foxing to the lower section. The paper is waved to the upper corners. Under UV light is visible a minor and small retouching by an old restored tear in the lower left quadrant.

C'è una predilezione nell'opera di Schifano per una energetica della pittura e, non meno viva, per una segnaletica dell'immagine che, va detto, vale per una sorta di raddoppiamento della pittura, del suo sistema. Quando Schifano arriva alle sue esperienze pop, vi arriva scoprendo non degli oggetti, ma dei segnali. Nel trasporto di questi segnali da un codice a un altro egli non immobilizza queste immagini ma ne sollecita un senso diverso. (...). Nel caso di Schifano, questo guardare al mondo come attraverso una serie di immagini, di scritture già date da interpretare e trasportare, diventano una sorta di osessione, e viene continuamente verificato con una frenetica insistenza e accelerazione percettiva.
